Who am I ?

I am a postdoctoral researcher at IMT-Mines Alès (France), studying XAI and human-XAI interaction. This position is funded by the EU project ENFIELD.

Before that, I did my PhD at the University of Angers, where I studied the combination of metaheuristics and machine learning for the discovery of molecules in molecular chemistry. I also spent about 18 months working as a developer for metaheuristic algorithms in the domain of public transportation at GIRO in Montréal (Canada).

Besides computer science and AI, I have many center of interests including photography, music, tennis or gaming (I'm an AOE4 nerd). I have even gotten into chess recently, but I will not disclose my elo here.
