Presentations at XAI4U and Human-centric AI Workshops
Posted on Wed 05 November 2025 in News
I recently had the pleasure to present my ongoing work in a presentation titled "A protocol to study the impact of XAI on AI-assisted decision making" at two research workshops.
The first event was the Human-centric AI workshop, organized by the ENFIELD project at UPB in Bucharest, Romania, on September 9th, 2025. The second presentation took place at the XAI4U workshop, held as part of the IHM’25 conference in Toulouse, France, on November 4th, 2025.
I was glad for the opportunity to present my ongoing research and thankful for the fruitful discussions and suggestions that followed my talks. I greatly appreciated the enthusiasm of the audience, and I hope that new collaborations will stem from the exchanges I had with several participants.
The work I presented focuses on studying the impact of explainable AI in a context of AI-assisted decision making. In particular, it focuses on the impacts on performance and (over)reliance.
Upcoming event
I will also present my work (remotely) at the HCAI workshop of the GDR IHM, held at ISIR, Paris, France.
